Scholarship Opportunity 
The Antigua Hotels & Tourist Association (AHTA) is committed to the educational development for the citizens of Antigua & Barbuda. Once again, the organization is offering scholarships for the two year associate degree course in Hospitality Management at the Antigua & Barbuda Hospitality Training Institute.

According to Neil Forrester, General Manager, “preparing the next generation of hotel professionals is a priority for the industry as we emerge from one of the deepest recessions in recent history. We need to have the highest caliber of persons leading the sector if we are to compete on what has become a truly global marketplace.”

Interested applicants are asked to submit a 2000 word essay on the subject, “What Tourism Means to Me” along with passport size photo, cover letter /resume, proof of Antigua & Barbuda citizenship and CXC Certification of five or more subjects with English and Maths as passes.

The successful applicant will be selected by the board members of the AH&TA. The deadline for submitting essay is August 25th 2011.
